It's all relative, I suppose. Having the president suggest the CDC

Then. That was the moment Fauci and Birx should have walked out,
    or taken the mike.

IIRC, it was a question asked, not an executive command to look into something. Considering the relative barbarism in medicine up until very recently, as similar ideas were often tried in the 1800s and even early
1900s, look at x-ray experiments in the early 1900s even. The questions
aren't *THAT* stupid for a layperson.

Also, there were a couple companies at that point actually looking into
UV light treatments. It's funny, people can lay aside Biden's babbling,
but can't even stop to consider someone may misinterpret an article or
two in hundreds of daily briefing issues.

Also, for the record, Fauci took the mic plenty, misrepresented plenty
of facts and lied before congress on more than one occasion. Instead of
lying because of supply issues, should have just suggested using general
face covering, such as a folded over bandana, scarf or home-made cloth
mask with two or more layers of tight knit fabric. While not N95
effective, would have been at least some help and pacified others.
Also, general advice on social distancing and shutting down larger even centers probably a good idea as well. That would have been better advice
while figuring things out while China was spreading its' own false
    narrative, state propaganda.

if the paint is fresh it should come off pretty easy.

bright lights that turn brighter with movement help a lot.

I recently bought a Raspberry Pi Zero W and a IR camera to go with it as a project. We've had some mostly childish BS going on lately. Anyway, I
learned that there is a pretty neat OS out there called motionEyes that is
open source and runs on the Pi. I also learned that these IR cameras are really only good for indoor use. If you have to cover the lens, to keep
the elements out, and it has built-in IR lights, the lights reflect off of
the cover and all you see at night is a purple blur.

Works great during the day, though.

There are some IP cameras that are not too expensive, that work at night
and can be put outdoors. As long as the follow the standard protocol, they will also work with motionEyes. I am planning to get one or two and
experiment some, then maybe get a few more.

Game tracking cameras are a quick fix or temporary situation regarding observing activity in an area. Place them on a tree if possible otherwise spray paint them to match whatever they are mounted on.

game cams also sometimes work better than wifi security cams. i have arlo cams and they crap out all the time when they are uploading video and more activity happens. also they need lateral movement to detect.

you can get gamecams that you can walk by with your phone and view vids and pics, too. they have their own wifi network.

i'm thinking of getting out for my garage that is facing an alley. i want to snap license plates of all the cars that drive by and see the shit goes on at night.
