I'm looking for HOW-TOs on installing doors with Mystic BBS. I searched the messages here and found some discussion but no actual instruction. I've tried the docs that came with Mystic and several google searches but no luck...

Does dosemu still work? I got LORD2 working but it doesn't show on the user's side, just in a dosemu window on my side. Most other doors give a run-time error; is this a bad version of dosemu/freedos that I'm using?

    Hi Fang,

I've been working on a Dos/Mystic BBS.. are you using a fossil driver, does your version of Mystic require a fossil to be
able to run doors and are the doors written in Turbo Pascal as there are utilities to patch those doors so they can run.
Not sure if you've ran into that or not yet.

I can't even get qemu to run =/ "bash: qemu: command not found"

I tried the raspberry pie tutorial since I'm running Mystic. I definitely saw qemu get installed; I even tried "apt install qemu qemu-kvu" and "apt install qemu*"

    "qemu-img create -f raw freedos.img 100M" did work...

I'm running Debian 10 ... guess I'm off to do a lot of RTFM =)

Yeah you'll often find that some Debian packages have unusual names

The command apt search is your friend in these situations to find out the actual package name you are interested in
