• How to run prelogin MPL script

From TALIADON@21:3/138 to All on Fri Jan 21 18:38:57 2022
    Hi All,

Is anyone able to advise how I can get Mystic to run an MPL script as soon as
    a user connects (i.e. before 'preuser.ans' is displayed during a non-matrix login)?

I've had a snoop around the documentation and menu systems, but I just can't seem to figure it out.

As always, any advice would be gratefully received.

What I did was follow the botcheck way. Find "detected" in the
prompts.dat/txt file and add a script with !scriptname.

In the readme of botcheck you can find the exact instructions.

I think it is also possible to use startup.mpl which is executed
    automatically.

    oP!

    Perfect.

    Thanks opi, very much appreciated.

Now that I think of it, it might have been startup.mpx-- iirc.

    Perfect.
At least it should get you going ;)

Spot on opi: startup.mps/mpx appears to work beautifully :)
