    Is there an easy way to make the BBS play a sound effect when a user logs in? I'm sure it would set under events, just not sure how to go about it.

    SBBS actually has a field in the server settings to tell it what sound to play for certain events.

    I did setup something in an older version of RF Geeks and posted about it on the blog. The post is here:

    This was on Linux, but I'm sure you could find a command line audio player, or even the one I used probably has a Win32/64 version.

    Yes there is !
    I use WInamp just add a command to exec external . C:\blah\Winamp\Winamp.exe "c:\mp3\track1.mp3"
