This isn't radio, sir! Only a few of us will understand RX and TX! (^_^)

Make certain that your BBS software is correctly configured to look for, and respond to, outbound mail. If you're using MysticBBS, I would strongly
suggest you watch the video tutorials from The Mystic Guy on Youtube.

But, clearly, you've already defeated that first challenge!

    Howdy,

Testing another outbound message to see why the hub is sending back my own messages with a different id. Please ignore.

I'm seeing odd messages from you and 3/178, which I think is partially my problem.

For some reason, the FTN path is getting 3/100 and 3/185 prefixed to it (and I cannot figure out how), but I can see that is not in your packet. (In fact there are no PATH lines).

But the reason the packet will be coming back to you, as your original packet doesnt include any SEEN-BY lines (which you should have your own address). I actually intend fixing that here as well (by automatically adding the sender to the seenby), which will fix that.

Yep, 178 reporting in- I have of course the same issues as jcs
since I'm running his BBS and we are both nodes off your hub.

So I pushed out an update today.

You shouldnt get back your mail, even if you dont have SEEN-BY lines - clrghouz will automatically add the sender to the SEEN-BY if it isnt already there...

Let me know if that does fix it for you...

Thanks, the duplicate ID thing was my fault and has been fixed, but getting back my own messages seemed new since clrghouz. I'll see if I get this one back to me.

That seems to indicate some kind of breakage between net 1 and 2.

I can't confirm or deny that but it might be worth having a closer look at.

I'd like to know, but I have no way to know if that message was received by and imported at 21:2/100.

    I dont think so.

I got it from Hub 2

    X-FTN-PATH 1/203 100 2/100

The copy I have, also has 2/148 in the SEEN-BY.

Hub 3 got it directly from Hub 1, which doesnt have 2/148 in the SEEN-BY.

So, it means it got lost in transmision to 2/148, or Hub 2 had an error creating the mail for 2/148.

Ergo, you need to talk to Todd to see what happened.

Yes, this is it. We need to find out if these missing messages are arriving at 2:2/148 and what is happening with thim.

Ergo, you need to talk to Todd to see what happened.

Shurato, will need to take this up with Todd and compare notes.
