Hey if the 20meg Seagates still sort of work there is no excuse for these drives of crap like the all famous Caviar the 1.6gig took out the entire system in 1997 almost gave up cause the backups literally vansished on the zipdisk.

Oh god those Cavier drives... I understand the pain. A couple of my friends at the time had popular boards that crashed because of them. They had the
infamous "click of death" like Zipdisk.

I knew a lot of people that bought those Zipdisks. Iomega must've been sued into oblivion. I was very stubborn with floppies and just like OS/2 I had to be dragged kicking-and-screaming to start using USB drives and writable CD's.

Yup I gained a bunch of weight too. And this was when you were still
able to smoke in a restaurant... so my usual was cigarettes, steak and eggs. Or the greasiest messiest most digusting burger ever invented by mankind.

Same, or when his mother brought in home made lasugna once a week
I had a standing order for it. The burger with feta cheese OMG so
    good.

I'll still cook breakfast for dinner sometimes in this house. Eggs
benny from scratch... makes a huge mess in the small kitchen but worth
    it.

We do that as well, not very often for benny though, but I've done
    it in the past.

Once my beater car I bought recently is officially road-worthy I intend
    to do some travelling again.

We gotta do a sysop beer thing this summer.

I could make the trip out to your trailer or try once again to arrange

If your car can get to Orono we'd love you to visit the trailer. The
new one even has a spare room so you can crash and not sleep on the
table. (Old trailer spare bed was made from the table)

a gathering. I've been saying that for years it seems. Pretty much everyone from R12/Ontario told me they'd be in. Echicken I think is
    busy with young kids.

I'd be able to make it to one of these... the big issue is work week.
My "weekend" is Monday and Tuesday right now, but in the summer I'll
take Sunday off too so Saturday after 4pm I'll also be free.

LOL oh NOW a greasy burger for breakfast sounds really good here...

It's 4:06am and I'm awake for work drinking a coffee and wishing
    I had a burger. ;)

Data in there is as old as dirt. goes back to 1998. lost is the 1996-1997 stuff but I blame Maxtor and Iomega for that one. Have CityNights on

    Who are those guys?

floptical discs I want to try and put back up from 1993-1995 but its
    some old version of WWIV.

That old WWIV version is probably the kind that asks for address & all that right?
