    Hello,

I've been using Minimig on a Mister FPGA setup to try and start connecting to BBS servers. Using AMiterm the screen tends not to update very well and the only modem client I find that works is QMPro for MSDOS.

Is there a decen Amiga telnet client that works well with 'modern' BBS services.

By not update very well I mean only displays half the screen and sometimes a lot of flickering. General not goodness.

    Thanks.

    Douglas

DCTelnet is very recent and works very well on amiga systems.

I tried 1.6 from aminet a moment ago. It was a disaster. It's also from 2006, not very recent.

Did I get the wrong thing? Is there some magic setting required?

No ANSI, clunky addressbook, won't remember password after setting it.

    Cheers

I use DCTelnet on Mister FPGA Minimig core, ASCII graphics are sometimes a bit off. From what I understand there are some modified fonts which you can use on Amiga with correct ASCII graphics that you can use with DCTelnet. Didn't tried them yet but you can find lha package in aBSINTHE BBS file section.
