    It is really, really nice.
Have seen today that there are 4 open TCP Ports.
    telnet and FTP are clear.
Additionally you have port 3333 to program the ESP32 (which is not yet connected to the FPGA via software)
and port 64, where you can remotely control the ultimate 64 via an API.

I have also activated the virtual parallel cable, and I can use DolphinDOS 2 to
achieve really, really high drive speeds ;)

Also nice to have HDMI and a regular 12V power supply ...

Thanks Ricsi,, I am trying to be patient, I run a Commodore BBS 2 actually
both Image BBS 1 -1.2b and a 2.x board, I want to put the 2.x on real
hardware because I want it to have a file base ( I had a very large one when
I ran the board back in the 90's and still have the software that was in it)
so I have a uIEC/sd waiting to go.. Plus the NISSA Network is now hooked up
and I want to not have to weed out the message bases all the time.. LOL I
just want a real 64! I have one but I don't trust it on 24/7 as it has the original power supply and no jiffy dos.. ANyways, I patiently await!!

I do not think that the ultimate 64 supports incoming connections as of yet. Currently you can use telnet anf FTP to access the ultimate 64 itself.
On port 64 you can remote controll the ultimate 64.

You can use the command interface to make outgoing network connections.
(eg. Ultimate Term and Ultimate IRC, but the software has to be written to support the ultimate 64)

And later you will have the ESP32 swiftlinke mulation, but this is not yet done.

    I have a uIEC/sd waiting to go..

There is also a sd2iec like drive activateable on the ultimate.
(but you need to add .prg to the files, otherwise it will make them SEQ files.

I'm not too worried about the telnet with it as I have a swiftlink and will
be using BBSServer from a PC with a NullModem cable...When the emulation is written then I will convert over to that..

Currently the userport pins are only available on some internal pins.
Instead of the userport there are 2 USB, 1 ethernet and one HDMI port in the place of the userport.

what is wrong with me! I wanted to wait for the brackets and getting a case.. This thing is AWESOME!! I just tonight installed Jiffy Dos Rom, a 16 meg Ram Drive, and a 1541 drive because I felt like it.. I also have a uIEC/SD card
on it.. This thing is total overkill but I am loving it!! I am going to move one of my Image BBS' to it along with creating another reu file so I can
store the BBS program I am programming on the USB stick so I can switch
between the 2 systems and work.. I spent a total over a bit over $350 for everything needed but you know what?? It was worth every penny!

    ??? Ram Drive???
Do you mean the REU (RAM Expansion Unit)
The Ultimate64 or 1541 Ultimate can emulate a REU.

It supports all the software that supports REUs.
    (GEOS, ...)
You can also use it to play back Nuvie videos.

Keep in mind that the biggest REU Commodore made was 512KB.
The chipset used could theoretically do 2MB.
(There were aftermarket REUs that expanded the memory to 2 MB)
The mechanism used can cope with 16 MB.

I am not entirely clear what you wanted to say ...

You definitely need software that supports the REU.
If you use bigger REUs you need to patch the software to support them.

GEOS for example can only copy with 512KB.
There is a patch to expand that to 2 MB REU sizes.

Yup a Ram Drive, I have setup the REU to have a 8 meg Ram Drive which acts as
a 8 meg drive. I am in the process of copying my Image BBS main files to it along with all of the screens etc for instant access and speed. I am using
the CMD RamDrive .crt file to do this.. Works great just having an issue getting the files copied to it.. I will work it out though..

I had downloaded a modified .crt of the Ram Drive cartridge which allowed the full 16 megs but it won't allow me to edit the reu file it creates. Once I
have everything set I will post.. :)

Image like any other C64 BBS only allows 1 incoming "line" at a time, there isn't more then 1 node. You can't dial out while the 1 node is active with an incoming call.. This is something I would have liked to be able to do because that would open the BBS up to Door Servers, File Servers etc. I don't see it being a possibility, If anyone feels it can be done, do it and we will include it in the new 3.0..

Ahh I knew about the incoming line but thought that since it is using ethernet,
it might be able the functionality since it is not trnaslating through a medium like a BBS server and straight through the router and obtaining an IP/DHCP. Interesting, I know the 128 also has the same limitation, but again, those were for the times of a single modem, single call. I remember Jim Selleck
worked on a version v13 that could accomodate two calls, that said, I wonder if there is some sort of work-around.

Ahh I knew about the incoming line but thought that since it is using ethernet,
it might be able the functionality since it is not trnaslating through a medium like a BBS server and straight through the router and obtaining an IP/DHCP. Interesting, I know the 128 also has the same limitation, but again,
those were for the times of a single modem, single call. I remember Jim Selleck
worked on a version v13 that could accomodate two calls, that said, I wonder
if there is some sort of work-around.

There are always work arounds, you can setup 2 BBS's on a Lt Kernal through a muxer, and have people dial into both, there is the 2 line BBS. The problem with the way you are thinking is the BBS only handles 1 modem and although the U64 can use Ethernet, the modem file is still only 1 modem/*Swiftlink*. What would need to be done is a new modem file would have to be written that accepts
telnet calls and allows for outgoing at the same time. You still couldn't have
2 people on at the same time as the C64 can only handle 1 instance of a program working at one time. The files needed to be completely re-written would
be +.modem, ml.rs232, and most likely some of the im file. Is it worth it? Absolutely not, if you want mIRC, or multiple nodes run a PC, Linux or Amiga board. Those computers can handle the stress of multiple lines, 64k of memory can only handle so much.. You have to remember Image BBS was written in the 80's and 90's, the new 3.0 although up to date, the base files we used to create it were written in the late 90's. So basically we are talking about software written 20 plus years ago.. The PC, and Linux boards I run were written in the past few years. My Linux board is brand new from the past couple
    of years..

I am too lazy to upload them ;)

A quick google search came up with this thread: https://www.forum64.de/index.php?thread/45510-reu-video-collection-f%C3%BCr-den -nuvie-player/&pageNo=1

    Hi All!

I am incredibly lazy ... but after months of doing other stuff I finally updated my U64.
    And WOW!!!

The new turbo is nice, also the possibility to stream Video and Audio to a PC is too.

While I was at it, I decided to order a bi-color replacement C64 poert LED and a 3D printed power connector and power switch cap.

The U64 can drive 2 LEDS and you can control what they should indicate.

Also the power switch cap should make the switch less flimsy and allow less dust into the housing ;)

But both of those are ultimately just toys ... but I like them ...
