If you're looking for some files, actually hundreds of thousands of
files, available from a BBS you might consider checking out The Quantum Wormhole or The Bottomless Abyss BBS'. The Anonymous Archivers File Distro Network is run off a system with 16 TB (2x 8TB) file storage space. The areas are quite diverse with hundreds of areas. You are welcome to check it out. The service is free of course, and is moderated. Some sample areas include 2600's HOPE conference Vids/MP3s, Lots of Christian stuff, Linux focus, and for all of you that love Sp00knet, there is a second FDN (file distro net) attached to the AnonArchivers. It is called the Silent Partner FDN and deals with hosting relating to the underground security scene, in open source intelligence, and a great place to find magazine extracts that relate to the intel community. I think this reboot is really nicely done; I liked the older AnonArchivers, but this time theres even more data goodness to be had.
If you haven't looked around the archive in a while I suggest that you do - I particularly like all the ANONYMOUS (hacker grour) announcement videos... and thats just something that stuck out to me - theres enough data here to kep to busy and downloading for some time!
Check it out... if yer an OP, ask to host it @ your BBS... if you're looking for it, I host the Archive @ 2o and know that Quantum Wormhole has it live too. Its really nice and a collection that folks like us would be interested in.
