In the news in 2019 from NOVA, it has been reported that Google has made a 72-Q-bit computer. This is past the threshold of what would be required to
be able to do cryptography hacking. They are also thinking about having a Quantum-secure-technology backing the Internet. So each node on the Internet would be using Quantum Crypto instead of RSA/AES. So when you encrypt your data you would be wise to use multiple layers of crypto (with different algorithms) and if you trust the technology, some non-public crypto schemes.
Your data is now probably not secure if you are facing American state actors who want your data.
