In the movies people are sometimes strapped down to a chair and injected with some SUDS (some unknown drug serum) such as Sodium Phentanyl, Amytal, or Barbital. They are somehow then unable to control what they say. But is
such a thing possible in real life? Short answer is yes, however not with these primitive drugs. There are really advanced brews such as Scopolamine ("Dragon's Breath") that can interfere with the logic centres of the brain.
A person who ingests this batch of sp00k can be guided along in
submissiveness to help the person talking with them do whatever they please.

So what can we learn from such information (knowing that these drugs exist
and are effective) --- well for one, if you don't have a need to know then
you should NOT know. If a person is kidnapped, interrogated, and relesed
with their memory missing and the opposition having a great bounty, you are,
in short, "FUBAR" (fouled up beyond all recognition). But if that same
person was drugged and ditched and she/he didn't know the sensitive
information they couldn't expose what they do not know.

The most Evil version of a drug-assisted interrogation is when a person is interrogated day and night for months or years. A person is kept in a perpetual state of suppressed short-term memory and a suppressed ability to defend against questions being spilled. A person that has this done to them can experience massive brain damage and never function the same again. True, the person will survive the ordeal, but at what cost? How horrible it would
be to loose your Id ("ID" from Freudian psychological theory: your self identification). With "over-use" (not that any should ever be used) of the SUDS you can cause massive serious acute irreversable brain damage. Extremely serious stuff. So if you have nuclear secrets or know about little people (aliens) watch out, being prepared in advance for an Evil adversary who
doesn't give a damn about your health. When a car comes close with some sketchy people inside who ask you to come close don't risk it, its better to
be perceived as impolite than be rendered.

Hey whats your take on psychological torture, whether it be electronically induced, or a mix of drugs and events that would render a psychological
trauma? I was told by a case agent at the C.I.A, that the reason most people suffer from psychological conditions in the first place, is in large due to psychological operations being conducted upon the people with no discrimination. In short, he said for shitz & gigglez. So years of
electronic torture, and the set goal of others to destroy your reputation,

I noticed that you used Sodium Phentanyl as an example. The correct compound for truth serum is Sodium Thiopental. Fentanyl , even diluted, would simply make the person either intoxicated by the drug or kill them if the dosage was not perfectly measured. Phentanyl/Fentanyl is a very lethal drug unless measured to the microgram.
