a few days ago i found my grandmum (age 89) in her livingroom. on the ground. blooding. she falls and hits the ground with her head and her

Amazing, tell your grandmother.. I wish her a speedy recovery! She sounds a
lot like my own Grandmun. I remember that.. just about the same thing
happening to her, around 1990, before she passed away. My Grandmum Theo, was
    92 back then... and also a tuff-old-bird :D

i just tell you that, well i was some days not in my favorite not-owned bbs :)

Yeah, when things like that happen with family, it's hard to get back into the bbs-scene. Lately, I've been working on setting up an old FTN/FDN network
that I was in back in the mid 90's called survivalNet (survnet) for short. I Hatched out the new infopack into the fido ODDBALL/INFOPACK and also in the
new 9:91/x Survnet network. In just two days there where 5 different nodes joining the network. 2-nodes in calif, 1 in WA, another in MA. Plus myself, flupH Survnet - HQ. I've also added all of my FDN (filebone) collection (100-gigs) that relate to survival and self-reliance.

fu> i hope your water is still full and the pollution is going back.

Yes, it all good now, but I still don' trust the water. So, I'm still drinking filtered clean bottled water or filtered rain water.

and watched out what all is nessacary to traval to US. Ahmmmm... WOW. i never been there after 9/11. may be i visit the US in 2015. brother, i will knock on your door if it becomes real! (and i bring beer haha)

Cool, you are aways welcome here. Never the-less, I'll still enjoy planning a trip to Germany someday. Take care, Bro.

    Regards,
    -Les

grandmother Theo, was 92 back then... and also a tuff-old-bird :D

i told her minutes ago that a friend from us wishes speedy recovery. she sayd thanks a lot. i am sitting here for breakfast with her together. she asked
how expensive it is to do phonecalls to the us. i show her your mail and she becomes big eyes and cant beleve it. she explores a new world :)

tuff-old-bird that descriptions compares to my grandmum too i think. survived the ww2 born 2 kids build a house, lose the house its a very powerfull lady. and she nevery loose his simile in crisis.

i am hooked! blackice can do the european hq if you want. in a few week i
will realised my ISDN access so i can serv nodes with POTS access only.

tell me just what i have to do to connect to the net and i am on it. i downloaded yesterday the ww2 weapon compendium from your bbs and study it
some houres. it is amazing, crazy and shocking what possibilities are in a war-devlopment be. many thinks very bad. it is absolutly no sorry for
mengeles "work" to slaughter living people and all that ugly shit. but with that knowledge people can be rescue in the modern medecin.

yesterday or a feq days ago dont know yet the "stern" magazin published some diaries entries from a nazi with photos and more. this stuff was found on an israel tiny marked where privat-persons offer his stuff and someone found the letters there. i dont read that yet, but i have read some other letters from nazi in highter positions and i cant understand that people so fanatic in things where the human being call into the whole body there is going
something wrong. what happed 60-70 years ago is more than bad. but the mainproblem in the world is that if any people meet a german the second question is anything about hitler nazis and that stuff. thats sad. thats is
not my generation. but i am sitting here with a old lady that lives in these times and do what was to do as a woman in the war and after the war. help wounded people and clean up the land after the massiv destruction. my grandpa was a pilot in the ww2 and he fights and was three times shot from the sky
and surived with light hurts. and he went in jail in the war, he gets a order and dont follow them, my grandpa would not shot with the boardgun into a
crowd with children and womans. he never told my stuff about the war. my dad says that he talks many years after the end of ww2 about these things are happend and one day he stopped and never talks about it.

Would you mind if I shared (post) a copy of your grandmum's story in Survnet? I'm sure others would like to read it also.

of course why not. here some details: she falls in her sleeproom crouching to the livingroom with bleeding headwound a broken underarm. than i found her
and call the EMT. The EMT arrives after 2 minutes. after a short diagnostic they transport she into the hospital. in hospital the mediciner makes a CT to make sure that no bones at the head are broken and no bleeding in the brain. all negativ - on this point the hurts are "silly" no fear that she lost her live on this accident.

the x-ray just after the CT shows that both bones in the underarm are broken, but the fracture are very close and have no miss-standing so that no
    correction is needed.

the wound on the head over the right was taped and the right eye is blue, purple many colours :)

she had no pills additionaly after that and makes gags about his situation
    and accident.

after 8 - 10 days the head wound will be stipped and can heal without the taping.

the arm get a new fixation in some days and a controll x-ray will also made. the cool think on this is she have a ortophedic (bones-clinic) just 2 houses wide from her house. so i can went with her by feed to the additional diagnostic. and for the headwound her usualy doctor comes to her at home and make the nessesary things in homework.

she is not very serious disabled in her usualy daily things that she does
every day. can put on clothers, warm her meals, wc, walking, push buttons on the remote controll from the TV :)

she says and i agree that all will come good. on April the 11 this year she will reach the age of 90 years. and we all are optimistic that she would make her party without any signs of her accident, thats occured on january the 21
    in the evening.

Super, thank you so much for showing interest in Survnet. If you haven't already download the infopack on my board, please do so. Plus, I can netmail attach it for you also. Your 2:240/8001 Correct? Here is the
    node info..

ok here it comes stange. i know, that other nets can exchanged with binkp.
but i dont know how to do that.

it would be great if you can gave me a step by step list what i have to do.
