    Unlike 2012, when Arkansas had a "White Christmas", the 2016
    Christmas looks to be a "Wet Christmas". Rain and thunderstorms
    move in Friday, and last through at least Tuesday of next week,
    as of the current forecast. Long range models show the stormy
    weather pattern continuing on into the start of 2017.

    With a threat of thunderstorms, as per the Inclement Weather
    Policy, the BBS will likely be offline for several days, to
    protect from lightning damage. So, if you can't connect to the
    BBS, please try again later.

    For my hubs, if I don't make a mail run (mainly QWK Networking,
    but an FTN FIDONet run for the Region 19 Sysops echo) to you for
    a few days, I'll just make the call as soon as the weather calms
    down.

    For the record, it's looking like a hot Christmas here, with a forecast of 37 or38C - close to 100F. :)
