    Mike,

It is the telnet address that is wrong, not the presense of the origin line DW>itself. I misunderstood previously the issue that he and Ed were DW>discussing.

Well, I zapped the origin lines for each network (FTN and QWK), and
set up a default origin line for each. Hopefully, that'll solve the
    problem.

Hmm, you may have to restart your BBS, the old address is still there..

I did that. I guess I'm going to have to take the BBS down, zap all
the FTN and QWKNetworks, and rebuild all of them from scratch (sigh!).

Check up the hierarchy, make sure there's no tagline in the group settings. And make sure the default tagline is correct, of course.

Nothing wrong with this message. Your QWK origin line is fine, and shows
    wher
the message originated. FTN people will see my FTN origin line as well.
    This
is normal for a gated echo. Don't be concerned, there is nothing wrong here.

It is the telnet address that is wrong, not the presense of the origin line itself. I misunderstood previously the issue that he and Ed were
    discussing.

Here at the gateway, I see just the QWK message, which is what I quoted in it V>entirety above.

Well, the wx1der.dyndns.org address no longer exists. I went in, and
zapped all the network origin lines, and just have a default tagline for
FTN and QWK. I hope that'll be sufficient. I'd hate to have to rebuild
    the message bases.

MysticSoft has a program called Agent Ransack.
I use it on this XP machine to Find Files that have some TEXT I'm looking for but can't remember the File Name.

If I can't recall if the File is in a Sub-Directory that I use often,
I have started Agent Ransack from C:\ to search for it.

I use their Free version (of course) on this XP box.

    OR

Just thinking, this XP box has Search on it from Windows Explorer.
I used Search some but I like using Agent Ransack.

I may have type the Company Name "MysticSoft" incorectly, but their name
    is something spelled like that.

You know how "Off the top of Ed's Head" works?
