  • [echoirlp] EchoLink status oddity

    After a loooong hiatus, I recently purchased a PiRLP node from Dave and
    have it working with my repeaters.

    One oddity I've noticed on the EchoLink web pages is my node (W6YJ-R)
    shows as it should on their Current Logins page, but is missing from
    their Link Status page.

    What would be the likely cause of this?

    Have you filled in the AVRS section of tbd.conf? There should be some example values in the provided config. But if not, there is a sample tbd.conf file in /usr/local/etc you can copy the relevant parts from and into your config.

    Here is the AVRS section with the comments removed:

    AvrsEnable = 1
    Latitude = 33.311912
    Longitude = -116.858242
    TxPower = 50
    Haat = 5600
    AntGain = 11
    AntDir = 0.0
    Frequency = 449.320
    CTCSS = 141.3

    This is the closest site it is tied to (1 of 5)

    wasn't for a few days.
